The
Czech Republic face
Portugal in the first Euro
2012 quarter final at Stadion Narodowy. Both teams won 2 of their group matches
and lost 1, with the Czech Republic scoring 4 and conceding 6 and Portugal
scoring 5 and conceding 4. The Czech Republic’s only loss was at the hands of
Russia who surprisingly failed to make it past the group stages. Portugal lost
by 1 goal to nil against an impressive Germany side.

Germany face
Greece in the second quarter final in
the PGE Arena, Gdansk. Germany have looked one of the strongest sides of the
tournament so far and have completed group B, widely considered to be the
hardest group, as undefeated winners. They have scored 5 and conceded 2 at group
stage. Greece won, drew and lost a group stage match, picking up a surprise 1-0
win over Russia in the last match. They have scored 3 and conceded 3.
